Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was winless in three games against the Patriots entering Week 15, a losing streak he finally put to bed with a 24-20 win Sunday.
Tannehill put up arguably the finest performance of his career to get the win, as he passed for 312 yards and threw three touchdown passes. He connected on scores of 39, 2 and 14 yards, the last of which provided the winning margin for the Dolphins on a toss to Marcus Thigpen.
Tannehill completed 25 of 37 passes overall, the seventh game in a row he has completed at least 60 percent of his passes. He also avoided an interception for the first time in six games, and now has 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions on the season.
Tannehill has really turned his season around, and has now tossed three touchdowns in each of the last two games. He will try to keep his solid play up in Week 16 in a trip to Buffalo.
