The Steelers announced their final round of cuts to trim the roster to 53 players Saturday, as they parted ways with 22 players.
The Steelers released defensive backs Isaiah Green, Dayonne Nunley, Shaquille Richardson and Ross Ventrone, linebackers Chris Carter, Howard Jones and Dan Molls, and defensive linemen Ethan Hemer, Josh Mauro, Roy Philon and Nick Williams on the defensive side of the ball. On offense, the team cut tight ends Rob Blanchflower, Bryce Davis and David Paulson, running backs Josh Harris and Stephen Houston, wide receivers Derek Moye and Lanear Sampson, offensive linemen Graham Pocic, Will Simmons and Guy Whimper, and quarter Brendon Kay.
