    Richardson (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Raiders and was waived Thursday, per NFL Communications.

    Richardson has been on Oakland's injured reserve for a couple of weeks. It remains unclear what his injury is, but he'll have a chance to play in 2018 if he gets claimed in the waiver process or manages to catch on as a free agent.

    Richardson (undisclosed) cleared waivers Tuesday and reverted to injured reserve, per the league's official transaction report.

    Richardson is headed into his fifth NFL season and has yet to record an NFL snap. If he reaches an injury settlement, he'll be free to sign with another team.
