Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh come alive as Steelers sneak out a win against Bengals

Derrick Harmon strip-sacks Burrow, and the Steelers recover. Pittsburgh prevails 30-27 and will improve to 2-1. Bengals fall to 2-1. 

Burrow hits Ja'Marr Chase for a 17-yard gain, and the Bengals have a first down on their own 47-yard-line at the two-minute warning. Cincinnati has already used a timeout on this drive, so it only has one left. 

Boswell's third FG of the day gives the Steelers a 30-27 lead with 2:15 lead. That's a big win for the Bengals defense, who hold the Steelers to a FG for a second time after Pittsburgh had taken over in the red zone. 

Bengals have two timeouts and the two-minute warning. 

Big Darnell Washington catches the ball and rams downfield for a 48-yard gain. Jaylen Warren would have scored on the next play, but he tripped at the 6-yard-line. 

A big run by Warren wiped out after DK Metcalf called for holding. It would have an 87-yard run. Instead, it's first-and-11 for the Steelers. Metcalf does make up for it with a first-down catch to move the chains. 

Heyward is able to come in and hit Burrow as he was throwing. The Bengals are punting on fourth-and-2 from their own 49, and I'm a bit surprised. They are able to pin the Steelers inside their own 10 with 7:39 left. 

The Steelers' offense has been good all game, but they haven't been as sharp since their opening two drives. If nothing else, they'll need to pick up a few first downs so the Bengals' offense won't have a short field to work with if the get the ball back before the end of regulation. 

Former Steeler Kyle Duggar blitzes and sacks Rodgers on third down. So Steelers settle for a FG and a tie score with 8:45 left. 

Huge win for the Bengals' defense. Steelers offense went nowhere after starting on the Bengals' 14-yard-line. 

Ke'Shawn Williams fumbles the Steelers' first punt and it's recovered by Ben Skowronek, giving the Steelers a first down on the Bengals' 14. 

Bengals get rewarded after going for it on fourth down. On the play, Burrow hit a wide-open Gesicki for a 25-yard strike. 

Joey Porter's absence is certainly being felt today. One would think that his presence would have made a difference. 

The two teams exchanged the lead in the third quarter and the Steelers take a 24-20 lead into the fourth. The Bengals are driving, though, after Higgins pulls down a 17-yard reception on third-and-10. 

Rodgers and Burrow are putting on a show but running backs Chase Brown and Jaylen Warren are also making an impact. Brown has 58 yards on 12 carries. Warren has 75 yards on 10 carries and 49 yards on three receptions. 

Rodgers hits a wide-open DK Metcalf to give the Steelers a 24-20 lead late in the third quarter. The score was set up by the running into the kicker penalty against Cincinnati. 

The Steelers have had five drives: three touchdowns, one FG and an INT. 

Steelers get 15 yards and a first down after a Bengal runs into Cam Johnston on a punt. Steelers have the ball at the Bengals' 44, down 20-17 late in the third. 

My pregame prediction (Bengals, 20-17) will be accurate, lol. Still a long way to go, though. 

Cincinnati has scored 10 unanswered points after McPherson starts the first half with a go-ahead field goal. Bengals have their first lead of the game. 

Burrow hits Chase for a first down on fourth-and-one. Burrow threw way before Chase had even broken to the outside. 

Cincinnati starts the second half with a pair of big runs by Chase Brown, giving the Bengals a first down at their own 34. A penalty takes them back to the 29.

Tee Higgins just made one of the craziest catches I've ever seen. He adjusted to Burrow's pass before tumbling over while possessing the ball. It's a tie game after the Bengals capitalized on Battle's pick. 

Bengals get the game's first turnover after Jordan Battle picks off Rodgers, giving the Bengals a first down near midfield with 1:38 left until halftime. 

The pick wasn't Rodgers' fault. The ball tipped off Roman Wilson's hands. 

A holding call on Tacario Davis wipes out a sack of Rodgers that gives the Steelers a first down near midfield with 1:50 left until halftime. 

Steelers are out of timeouts. Bengals have two left. 

The first punt of the game took place on the sixth series. The punt happened after Burrow threw his first incompletion. He started 14 of 14. 

Steelers parlay Warren's 35-yard run into a Chris Boswell FG with 7:05 left until halftime. It could have been more if not for the Metcalf penalties. 

Warren has 54 yards on six carries. So far, Pittsburgh has had success spreading the Bengals' defense out. Having all of their receivers back allows them to do that. 

Steelers have consecutive penalties by DK Metcalf before Rodgers has to burn final timeout. Steelers facing a third and very long from their own 34. 

A 35-yard run by Warren puts the Steelers on the Bengals' 30. Warren started the game with a 30-yard catch that helped set up Pittsburgh's first TD. 

Evan McPherson drills a 50-yard FG to make it 14-10 Steelers with 10:16 left in in the second. Bengals had to settle for 3 after a third-down conversion to Tee Higgins was wiped out due to a penalty on Amarius Mims. 

Burrow has yet to throw an incompletion. He's 13 of 13 for 92 yards. A big reason for his success has been his protection. No sacks and he's only been on the ground once. 

Mike Gesicki down after taking a big shot after catching a short pass. He tried to get up but stayed down and is now being tended to by trainers. 

Would be a pretty big loss if Gesicki misses the rest of the game. The Bengals are already without their No. 3 receiver Andrei Iosivas. 

Bengals now 3 of 3 on third down after Burrow hits Chase for a first down. Burrow is a perfect 10 of 10 so far.

Steelers have scored TDs on their first two possessions after Rodgers hits Ben Skowronek for a 23-yard TD. It was an 11-play, 86-yard drive that took just 4:58. 

Rodgers threw it the second Skowronek broke open at the end of the end zone. Rodgers has been near flawless to start. He's 8 of 11 for 143 yards and two scores. Six Steelers have already caught passes.
