Former Cincinnati TE Adrien Robinson, the Giants' selection with the 127th pick, is probably seen as insurance for TE Jake Ballard (ACL, microfracture surgery) and TE Travis Beckum (ACL). There’s a chance that the latter could return for the beginning of the season, but the former will likely end up on the PUP list in hopes of being ready by midseason.
