Monday wasn't a fun day at the old Browns office. Actually Sunday was the bad day: the Browns fired Mike Pettine and Ray Farmer after the team fell to 3-13 amid swirling rumors about Johnny Manziel skipping concussion protocol to hang out in Vegas.
Monday brought a sense of tragic comic relief, then, as the Browns official team calendar sported a piece of trivia that was depressingly awkward and a touch ironic.

Maybe it's a "what happened on this day in Browns history" thing that caused someone to put a coach trivia item on the calendar for January 4, 2016 but it was ill-conceived, because all along January 4 was going to be Black Monday.
There was a decent chance Pettine could be fired -- the Browns average one coach per two years after all -- so someone probably should've done some research and a little communication.
But, you know, Browns.
