Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo started at strong safety in Sunday's win over Detroit and had five total tackles and recovered a fumble.
Even though head coach Mike Zimmer had said the strong safety role remained unsettled, Sendejo got all the playing time at the position as Robert Blanton didn't play a snap on defense. It looks like the strong safety job is Sendejo's to lose going into Week 3.
