Packers' Brett Goode: Re-signing with Packers
Goode will sign a contract with the Packers on Tuesday and is expected to serve as the team's long snapper Sunday against the Ravens, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Goode was waived from the team's injured reserve earlier this season after suffering a hamstring injury, but now that he's healthy and eligible to rejoin the squad, he'll take back long-snapping duties. Derek Hart, who snapped for the Packers in their last two games, will be cut loose to clear a spot on the 53-man roster for Goode.

Packers' Brett Goode: Lands on injured reserve
Goode (hamsting) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Goode, the Packers' long snapper, suffered the injury early in Sunday's victory over the Bengals. The team learned Monday that he would be sidelined for several weeks, and he was placed on IR due to the fact that teams typically use a single roster spot for long snappers. Goode and the team will need to reach an injury settlement if he hopes to find a new opportunity this season.

Brett Goode: Reaches injury settlement with Packers
Goode (hamstring) was waived from the Packers' injured reserve Tuesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
Goode was expected to miss several weeks after injuring his hamstring early in the Packers' victory over the Bengals on Sunday. The team could not afford to use two roster spots on long snappers going forward, so they placed the veteran on IR. He now will be free to find a new opportunity once his hamstring heals.

Packers' Brett Goode: Returns to Green Bay
Goode has signed a contract with the Packers.
Goode served as the Packers' primary long snapper from 2008 to 2016, including last season when he appeared in 143 regular-season games and 14 playoff matchups. While the team decided to bring in a new punter and long snapper this offseason, which is why Goode was let go this spring, Derek Hart has struggled in training camp, so Goode should have every opportunity to reclaim his special-teams gig with Green Bay.
