Taylor (groin/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Brady Cook has already been named the Week 16 starter, so Taylor and Justin Fields (knee) are duking it out for the right to back up the undrafted rookie Sunday. Both Taylor and Fields are listed as questionable, but Taylor appears to be the likelier of the two quarterbacks to ultimately be deemed available. Taylor said Friday that he feels good enough to play Sunday, per Brian Costello of the New York Post, while Fields described himself as week-to-week.

Taylor (groin) was estimated as a limited participant at Wednesday's walk-through practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has already stated that Brady Cook will start Sunday versus the Saints, but one of Taylor or Justin Fields (knee) will operate as the No. 2 quarterback, health depending. A knee injury suffered Week 14 against the Dolphins prevented Taylor from taking the field during New York's loss to Jacksonville in Week 15.

Taylor (groin/knee) was listed as limited at Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Taylor is now listed with a knee injury in addition to the groin injury that kept him out of this past Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Brady Cook made his first NFL start against the Jaguars and has already been named the starter for Sunday's game against the Saints. The healthier of Taylor or Justin Fields (knee) will work as the backup, with that race being too close to call after a pair of limited listings from both veteran quarterbacks Wednesday and Thursday.

Coach Aaron Glenn noted Friday that Taylor (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
The same applies to Justin Fields (knee), which sets the stage for Brady Cook to draw the start at QB for the Jets in Week 15, with Adrian Martinez slated to be elevated from the practice squad to serve as the team's backup. Taylor's next chance to see game action will occur Sunday, Dec. 21, when the Jets face the Saints on the road.
