Arrelious Benn: Option declined for 2018
The Jaguars declined Benn's (knee) $790,000 team option for 2018 on Tuesday, making the wide receiver an unrestricted free agent March 14, Mike Kaye of FirstCoastNews.com reports.
Benn had spent parts of the past three seasons with the Jaguars as a depth wideout and special-teams contributor, appearing in 24 games and notching six receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown. Though Benn could have been retained at an affordable price for the upcoming season, his poor track record on the health front likely had the Jaguars eager to look elsewhere to fill out their wideout ranks.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Lands on IR
The Jaguars placed Benn (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Benn was placed on IR in order to make room for a few returning players. He failed to record a catch after hauling in one reception for 12-yards in the Jaguars' Week 1 victory over the Texans. His season will now come to a close unless he and the team come to terms on an injury settlement.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Ruled out for Week 11
Benn (knee) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns after failing to practice Friday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida TImes-Union reports.
Benn held out hope that he would be able to suit up Sunday after injuring his knee in the Week 10 win over the Chargers, but on the heels of missed practices Thursday and Friday, the Jaguars determined the wideout wouldn't be available. Though he's played only a combined 20 offensive snaps over the Jaguars' last four games, Benn's absence will loom larger than normal with fellow wideout Allen Hurns (knee) also ruled out against the Browns. Fortunately for Jacksonville, rookie Dede Westbrook (abdomen) is expected to be activated from injured reserve in time to suit up Sunday, offsetting the losses of Hurns and Benn to some extent.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Fails to practice Thursday
Benn (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's practice.
Benn expressed optimism earlier this week that the knee injury he sustained in Sunday's loss to the Chargers wouldn't force him to miss further action, but his status for the Week 11 matchup with the Browns looks to be on murky ground following the missed practice session. The Jaguars will reevaluate Benn on Friday before offering more clarity on his outlook heading into the weekend, but it's possible the team could have a depleted receiving corps in the contest, as Allen Hurns (ankle) appears unlikely to play. On a more fortunate note, Dede Westbrook (abdomen) looks poised to return from injured reserve this week, which would at least give the team another body at receiver.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Limited with knee injury
Benn (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Per Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union, Benn said he expects to be ready to play Sunday in Cleveland. He suffered the injury during the Week 10 win over the Chargers, and fellow wideout Allen Hurns (ankle) suffered a more serious injury later in the contest. Benn could still see most of his work on special teams against the Browns, as the impending debut of Dede Westbrook (abdomen) should partially help offset Hurns' likely absence.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Suffers knee injury
Benn hurt his knee Sunday against the Chargers and is questionable to return, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Benn has only been targeted twice this season, but since Dede Westbrook remains on injured reserve, Benn is still considered a No. 4 wideout. He has been very limited on offense this season, so fantasy owners likely won't feel his absence.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Listed as active Sunday
Benn (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Rams.
With just one catch for 12 yards in five games, Benn isn't on the fantasy radar, but his availability Sunday provides the Jaguars with depth at wideout and and is good news for the squad's special teams.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Iffy for Week 6
Benn (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Per Mike Kaye of WTLV, Benn is a game-time decision for the contest, and if he's unable to suit up Sunday, Jaelen Strong could make his debut with Jacksonville. With just one catch for 12 yards in five games to date, however, Benn is well off the fantasy radar.

Jaguars' Arrelious Benn: Limited by groin injury
Benn was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a groin issue.
Benn wasn't listed on the Jaguars' initial injury report Wednesday, so it appears he may have picked up the hamstring injury at some point during Thursday's session. The Jaguars will wait and see how the wideout progresses overnight before determining his availability for the final practice of the week Friday. If Benn is able to shake up the groin issue and suit up Sunday against the Rams, he won't be in store for a major role offensively in a Jaguars attack that's leaned heavily on its ground game this season. Benn has seen double-digit snaps the past three weeks, but hasn't been targeted by quarterback Blake Bortles.
