Josh Sitton: Retiring from NFL
Sitton (shoulder) announced Thursday that he is retiring from the NFL, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Sitton was a symbol of durability and toughness during his eight-year stint with the Packers in which the three-time All-Pro completed a 16-game season six times. After finishing his career with two years in Chicago and one in Miami, Sittin will retire having started in 142 of the 148 games he appeared in with a Super Bowl XLV ring in hand.

Josh Sitton: Fails physical
Sitton (shoulder) was released by the Dolphins on Thursday with a failed physical designation, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Sitton,who played only one game in 2018 before landing on injured reserve due to a torn rotator cuff, has started only 26 of a possible 48 games over the last three seasons. The Dolphins will save a reported $5 million in cap space, and Sitton is likely to land with the Jets following his release, per Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com.
