Erik Walden: Lands on waiver wire
The Seahawks waived Walden (hip) from injured reserve Saturday, Ben Arthur of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.
Walden was an exciting pickup, as he made two sacks in his preseason debut. He is just two seasons removed from an 11-sack campaign, but his durability is questionable at 33 years old. He'll be free to sign with another team now, and he can re-sign with the Seahawks after three weeks.

Seahawks' Erik Walden: Signs with Seattle
Walden agreed to a contract with the Seahawks on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Walden earned over 500 defensive snaps as a rotational outside linebacker with the Titans in 2017, ultimately logging 36 tackles and four sacks in 16 games. In Seattle, he'll likely compete with Barkevious Mingo, D.J. Alexander and Shaquem Griffin for snaps opposite starting OLB K.J. Wright.

Titans' Erik Walden: Signs with Titans
Walden signed a contract with the Titans on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
It was a bit of a surprise to see Walden go unsigned this offseason after he tallied a career-high 11.0 sacks in 2016 while with the Colts. Prior to last season, he had only tallied more than 3.0 sacks once. The 31-year-old linebacker will likely be a backup outside linebacker with the Titans in what will be his 11th professional campaign.
