Ryan Grant: Joins CFL
Grant signed a contract Wednesday with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders.
Though Grant spent most of the 2019 campaign on an NFL roster, the slot wideout only made two appearances between the Raiders and Packers. He ultimately couldn't catch on with a team even as a training-camp body in 2020, resulting in him sitting out the season. The 30-year-old wideout apparently isn't ready to hang up his cleats just yet, but he'll have to head north of the border to keep his career alive.

Packers' Ryan Grant: Never plays for Packers
Grant wasn't active for a game with the Packers, but he caught four passes for 14 yards over two contests with the Raiders in 2019.
The Packers signed Grant in October to serve as a depth asset since the team's receivers were injured, but the 29-year-old never played in the Green and Gold. He played 14 games with the Colts last year and caught 35 passes for 334 yards and a score, so there may be suitors for Grant this offseason. Grant's set to be an unrestricted free agent in March.

Packers' Ryan Grant: Healthy scratch again
Grant (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Jason Wahlers of the Packers' official site reports.
This is the second straight game that Grant will serve as an healthy scratch, as the Packers have decided they're comfortable rolling out five wide receivers. His time in Green Bay may run out once Davante Adams (toe) returns.

Packers' Ryan Grant: Not playing Sunday
Grant (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Raiders, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Grant signed with the Packers on Wednesday and was potentially in line to play Sunday, but both Geronimo Allison (concussion) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (knee/ankle) are active. Jake Kumerow, Allen Lazard and Darrius Shepherd will provide wideout depth for the Packers.

Packers' Ryan Grant: Lands in Green Bay
Grant signed a contract with the Packers on Wednesday.
Grant worked out for the Packers in early October, and he now lands a contract with the team. The Tulane product's opportunity comes with Davante Adams (toe) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) both nursing injuries. He'll provide Green Bay's receiving corps with some much-needed depth.

Ryan Grant: Working for Green Bay
Grant had a tryout with the Packers on Monday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Grant logged his second tryout in the past week, his first having come with the Patriots. The Tulane product caught four of nine targets for the Raiders through the first two games of the season and would add depth to a banged-up Green Bay receiving corps.

Ryan Grant: Checks out New England
Grant worked out with the Patriots on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Less than a week after being cut by the Raiders, Grant showcased his talents for the Patriots. Through two games with the Raiders, Grant caught four of nine targets for 14 yards. That's not an inspiring stat line, but Grant has been productive in the past -- he caught 80 passes between the 2017 and 2018 seasons -- and the Patriots could use the depth at wideout.

Ryan Grant: Cut by Oakland
The Raiders released Grant on Wednesday, Myles Simmons of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The move isn't especially surprising after Grant was made inactive by the Raiders in Week 3. The 28-year-old managed four catches (on nine targets) for 19 yards in his two games this season and will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth wideout.

Raiders' Ryan Grant: Inefficient Week 2 outing
Grant hauled in just one of five targets for a loss of two yards during Sunday's 28-10 loss to the Chiefs.
Grant was promisingly on the field for 49 of a possible 65 offensive snaps for the Raiders in Week 2 as game flow encouraged a pass-heavy attack throughout the second half, but Grant failed to capitalize while a trio of fellow receiving options in Darren Waller, Tyrell Williams and Hunter Renfrow combined for 139 yards and a touchdown on 15 catches. Grant will look to remain involved on the road against the Vikings as the silver and black enter Week 3 as underdogs once again.
