The 31-year-old was carted off the practice field with the injury during minicamp and subsequently landed on injured reserve, though the specifics of the issue weren't previously known. Dozier joined Chicago on a one-year deal in March, but he's now set to miss the full 2022 campaign.

Dakota Dozier: Lands on COVID list
The Vikings placed Dozier on their practice squad's COVID-19 list Friday.
Dozier managed to start for the Vikings at offensive guard for all 16 games during the 2020 season; however, he's spent his 2021 campaign on Minnesota's practice squad. The offensive guard now finds himself on the reserve/COVID-19 list and won't be able to return to the practice field for at least a few days. It's possible the Vikings sign a player to fill in for Dozier while he's on the practice squad reserve list.
