Manti Te'o: Returns to practice squad
The Bears activated Te'o from the practice squad COVID-19 list Saturday, per the NFL's official transaction page.

The 28-year-old hasn't seen game action since Week 8 with the Saints last season, but he'll rejoin the team for the 2019 stretch run. Te'o provides some depth at linebacker after Kiko Alonso (thigh) suffered an injury during last Thursday's win over the Falcons.

Saints' Manti Te'o: Healthy inactive for second straight week
Te'o (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
It will be a second straight DNP for Te'o, who's logged just 12 tackles (eight solo) and one pass defensed this season. The Saints' defensive scheme seems to be largely responsible for Te'o's absence from the gameday roster the last two contests, as New Orleans has been deploying two-linebacker alignments on a frequent basis.

Saints' Manti Te'o: Healthy scratch for Sunday's tilt with Rams
Te'o (coach's decision) will not play in Sunday's game against the Rams, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
The Saints typically use a two-linebacker set so Te'o's absence is likely the result of a personnel decision. Look for Alex Anzalone to be the third linebacker available alongside Vince Biegel in the event of emergency. More information on Te'o's healthy scratch could be available following the game.

Saints' Manti Te'o: Does not practice Wednesday
Te'o (knee) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Te'o seems to be battling a knee injury of undisclosed severity after managing to record four tackles in Week 2. The 27-year-old should be considered questionable to suit up against the Falcons on Sunday, and if Te'o misses any time, A.J. Klein and Alex Anzalone likely will split the Saints' linebacker snaps evenly.

Te'o continues to split time with A.J. Klein (48 snaps) and Alex Anzalone (23 snaps), though Klein appears to have surged to the top of the linebacker committee in Week 2 after registering nine tackles. Saints' Manti Te'o: Splits snaps in opener
Te'o had four tackles (three solo) in Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers. He played 27 of the Saints' 66 defensive snaps.
While Demario Davis played every defensive snap, Te'o, A.J. Klein (25 snaps) and Alex Anzalone (34 snaps) each saw a roughly equal amount of playing time in the opener, with only Anzalone -- who had a forced fumble -- doing much of note in an ugly defensive performance. It's only one week so it may be too early to rush to judgment, but if Klein, Te'o and Anzalone continue to split snaps, it may be difficult for IDP owners to trust any Saints linebacker except Davis.
