Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Plays large receiving role Monday
Abdullah took three carries for eight yards while hauling in all seven of his targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 15-9 loss to Atlanta.
Starter Sincere McCormick (ankle) was injured in the second quarter before being ruled out at halftime, opening extra playing time for the Raiders' backup RBs. Abdullah took full advantage of the opportunity and cashed in a late touchdown reception while Alexander Mattison (7-24-0) handled the early-down work in the second half. Despite the disparity in production Monday, Mattison figures to handle starting duties should McCormick be ruled out for a Week 16 tilt against the Jaguars. Abdullah would likely get worked in as a receiving option like what happened versus the Falcons in the aforementioned scenario.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Two touches in Sunday's loss
Abdullah caught one of two targets for a loss of three yards and rushed once for one yard in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Buccaneers. He also returned two punts for 30 yards and two kickoffs for 59 yards.
Abdullah earned just two touches despite playing 39 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps, ceding much of the backfield work to Sincere McCormick as the undrafted 24-year-old took 15 carries for 78 yards to go along with a pair of receptions for another 11 yards. Abdullah figures to take a backseat to McCormick again in Week 15 when Las Vegas hosts the Falcons on Monday Night Football. Additionally, Alexander Mattison (ankle) could return to the backfield rotation as well.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Tallies 151 all-purpose yards
Abdullah rushed 10 times for 39 yards, secured both targets for 14 yards, returned one kickoff for 68 yards and ran back two punts for 30 yards in the Raiders' 19-17 loss to the Chiefs on Friday.
The veteran back was busy all afternoon with both Zamir White (quadriceps) and Alexander Mattison (ankle) inactive, and he supplemented his work on offense with a productive effort on special teams. Abdullah's 68-yard kickoff return late in the third quarter set the Raiders up on the Chiefs' 26-yard line for a drive that culminated in a Brock Bowers touchdown grab two plays later. Abdullah finished with two fewer carries and 25 less rushing yards than backfield mate Sincere McCormick, but he offered serviceable fantasy production overall. However, Abdullah could be back to his customary third-down role in short order, considering both White and Mattison seemingly have a good chance of being available for a Week 14 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: In line for added work Friday
With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) both inactive, Abdullah is in line to see added work Friday against the Chiefs.
In this past Sunday's 29-19 loss to the Broncos -- a game that Mattison and White also missed -- Abdullah (who started the contest) carried the ball eight times for 28 yards and caught five of six targets for 37 yards and a touchdown. Look for the veteran back to continue to see added touches Friday, with Sincere McCormick (who logged five carries for 33 yards versus Denver) also mixing in.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Finds end zone in loss
Abdullah carried the ball eight times for 28 yards and caught five of six targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-19 loss to the Broncos.
With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) unavailable, Abdullah led the Raiders' backfield in touches and scrimmage yards while scoring the team's only offensive TD of the day on a six-yard connection with Gardner Minshew (collarbone) in the second quarter. The five catches and six targets were also season highs for Abdullah. It's not yet clear if either Mattison or White will be ready to return in Week 13, but even if Abdullah handles the lead role again, he'll have a tough matchup against Kansas City.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Slated to see expanded role Sunday
With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) inactive, Abdullah is in line for an expanded workload Sunday against the Broncos.
In the absence of both Mattison and White, Abdullah is in line to start Sunday, per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, with Dylan Laube and practice-squad elevation Sincere McCormick also available to mix in. While Abdullah is a speculative lineup option versus Denver, he could provide short-term fantasy utility for those who would normally rely on either Mattison or White or are otherwise in need of backfield help with six teams on bye in Week 12.

Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Set for more touches Week 12
Abdullah is in line to lead the Vegas backfield Sunday against the Broncos, as Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports that both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be listed as doubtful.
Nearly all of Abdullah's playing time this season has come on third downs or in hurry-up/comeback situations, but Reed reports that the 31-year-old is expected to start this Sunday. Abdullah scored a receiving touchdown after both Mattison and White got hurt in the Week 11 loss to Miami, taking 88 percent of snaps in the fourth quarter. Dylan Laube, a healthy scratch in recent weeks, also may be in line for an increased role this Sunday, and at least one of Sincere McCormick or Chris Collier figure to be elevated from the practice squad.
