Fabian Moreau: Set loose by 49ers
The 49ers released Moreau (undisclosed) on Tuesday.
Moreau dealt with an undisclosed injury during the preseason, but he's back to full health while he looks for his next home. Moreau handled starter reps in Denver back in 2023, but the 31-year-old cornerback played just 94 defensive snaps across seven games with the Vikings last year.

Moreau (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's 30-9 preseason loss to Denver, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Moreau is dealing with an undisclosed injury, which forced him to sit out the team's preseason opener against the Broncos. Moreau will be sidelined for the third week in a row as he continues to nurse a hip injury. In his absence, Dwight McGlothern and Josh Metellus will continue to operate in substantial roles in Minnesota's secondary in Week 18. Vikings' Fabian Moreau: Headed to Minnesota
The Vikings signed Moreau on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Moreau started in 11 of 16 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, recording 46 tackles (33 solo), seven passes defended and one interception. The 2017 third-round pick out of UCLA brings much-needed depth at corner after Mekhi Blackmon suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury in the first practice of Vikings training camp, while fellow corners Byron Murphy (knee - MCL) and Shaquill Griffin (leg) are also dealing with injuries.

Moreau had a solid 2023 campaign in his first year with the Broncos. The 29-year-old cornerback is now set enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. Moreau posted eight tackles (seven solo) and a pass defended in Saturday's 42-17 loss to the Lions.
Moreau's tackle total was a season high for the veteran cornerback. The 29-year-old played 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps for the third straight week and has now recorded 35 total tackles, six passes defended and one interception in 13 appearances this season.
