The Titans signed Johnson on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Johnson was a fourth-round pick by the Vikings in 2017 and has totaled 115 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble across 68 career games (21 starts) with four different teams. In 2022, he played in three games with the Texans before joining Atlanta, where he totaled 10 tackles across six appearances.

Falcons' Jaleel Johnson: Scooped up by Atlanta
The Falcons claimed Johnson off waivers Monday.
Johnson will land with Atlanta after being waived by the Texans on Monday. The 28-year-old nose tackle played played three games after signing with Houston on Oct. 27, recording five tackles and one sack while playing 83 of his 91 snaps on defense. Johnson could step up into an immediate reserve role with the Falcons after the team also placed starting defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham (knee) on injured reserve Monday.

Jaleel Johnson: Let go Saturday
Johnson was waived by the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 reports.
Johnson appeared in three games for the Texans this season, recording five tackles (four solo), a sack and a fumble recovery. In a corresponding move, the Texans activated fellow defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour from injured reserve. Johnson will now work to find a new opportunity elsewhere.

Johnson (undisclosed) and the Saints have come to terms on an injury settlement, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Johnson went unclaimed off waivers earlier in the week and subsequently reverted to the team's injured reserve. He had been competing for a depth interior defensive lineman role prior to sustaining an undisclosed injury. He will now be free to look for a new landing spot once he recovers from the injury.

Johnson was released by the Saints last Thursday as the team looked to make room for quarterback K.J. Costello and defensive back Brian Allen on its offseason 90-man roster. The sixth-year defensive tackle has played 60 regular-season games -- including 16 starts in 2020 -- over the past four seasons with Minnesota and Houston. Johnson should once again compete with Malcolm Roach and Josh Black for a depth role on the interior of New Orleans' defensive line this preseason.

Johnson (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sports Talk 790 Houston reports.
Johnson can return in time for Sunday against the Chargers if he is vaccinated and capable of producing two negative tests more than 24 hours apart. With fellow defensive linemen Maliek Collins, DeMarcus Walker, Jonathan Greenard and Derek Rivers all on the COVID list as well, the Texans are in danger of being incredibly thin at the position Sunday. Johnson will try to clear protocols, so he can provide depth and possibly start against the Chargers.
