  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Heads toward free agency

Griffin wasn't targeted in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18, and ended the season with four receptions for 26 yards over 15 games played.

Griffin came into this season with six seasons of at least 244 receiving yards, but the 32 year old had the worst season of his career because he was targeted less than once per game. It's possible he re-emerges next year as a depth tight end, as he's now an unrestricted free agent.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: No yardage in defeat

Griffin failed to corral his lone target in the Bears' 41-10 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Griffin is primarily used as a blocker, and he has four catches for 26 yards on the season. It's unlikely he'll have much fantasy production in Week 18 against Minnesota.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Targeted once in defeat

Griffin caught a two-yard pass in the Bears' 35-13 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Griffin has caught four passes for 26 yards on the season, and his lack of usage will make him an unreliable fantasy option in Week 17 against the Lions. He's third on the tight end depth chart and hasn't caught more than one pass in any game this season.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Records one reception

Griffin tallied a five-yard reception in the Bears' 33-14 win over the Patriots on Monday.

Griffin now has three catches for 24 yards on six targets over five games played. Playing as the No. 2 tight end in a low-volume passing offense will likely continue to limit his opportunities as a receiver.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Posts no stats in loss

Griffin was targeted once in the Bears' 12-7 loss to the Commanders on Thursday.

Griffin was wide open in the end zone on his only target, but Justin Fields overthrew the ball. In four games played this year, Griffin has two catches for 19 yards on five targets, and he's not currently seeing enough targets to be a trusted fantasy option.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Targeted once

Griffin posted a one-yard reception in the Bears' 29-22 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

After missing the last two games with an Achilles' injury, Griffin returned to his role as the No. 2 tight end behind Cole Kmet. He's caught two passes over three games, giving him limited fantasy upside.

  • Bears' Ryan Griffin: Cleared for Week 5

Griffin doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Vikings.

Griffin has missed back-to-back games due to an Achilles issue and was limited at practices throughout the week, but he'll still be good to go for Week 5. Across his first two appearances of the season, the veteran tight end caught one of three targets for 18 yards over 41 offensive snaps.
