The Lions waived Lelito (thigh) from injured reserve Tuesday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Lelito landed on IR after suffering the thigh injury a little over a week ago. The injury was never considered a season-ending one for the offensive lineman, so once he's fully recovered from the issue, he could latch on with another team.

Lelito sustained the injury during Sunday's loss to the Steelers, and the specifics are still unknown. The Lions apparently feel good about their current offensive line depth, as the 28-year-old was replaced on the 53-man roster by defensive end Jacquies Smith.

Lions' Tim Lelito: Injures thigh

Lions' Tim Lelito: Lands deal with Detroit
The Lions signed Lelito to a contract Tuesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Lelito will take the roster spot of guard/tackle Joe Dahl (lower leg), who was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. The Grand Valley State product is capable of playing both guard and center, so he could settle in as the Lions' top backup at both positions now that Dahl is out of the picture.
