Danny Etling: Done in Green Bay
Etling was cut by the Packers on Sunday.
Etling spent 2022 on the team's practice squad, but he'll now need to find a new opportunity. The 29-year-old was selected in the seventh round of the 2018 Draft by the Patriots and has bounced around the league since. Sean Clifford and Alex McGough are now the only quarterbacks left on Green Bay's roster behind Jordan Love.

Packers' Danny Etling: Signs back up with Green Bay
Etling signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Tuesday.
Etling will sign his second reserve/future contract with the Packers in as many years. The 28-year-old made a strong impression during the 2022 preseason with Green Bay, though he never had a real chance to make the active roster and ultimately spent the entirety of this regular season on the practice squad. The 6-foot-3 signal-caller will now look to make his debut heading into the 2023 campaign.

Danny Etling: Joins Packers' practice squad
Etling was signed to the Packers' practice squad Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Etling will stay with the Packers organization after he was waived Tuesday, joining their practice squad. The quarterback will likely spend the entirety of the season on the practice squad as an extreme depth option behind Aaron Rodgers.

Danny Etling: Waived by Packers
Etling was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Etling once again failed to make the active roster after throwing for 220 yards and a touchdown this preseason. The quarterback has yet to make his regular season debut after getting drafted in the seventh round in the 2018 NFL Draft. He'll likely end up on a practice squad for the 2022 campaign.
