Skipper suffered a hamstring injury in Detroit's Week 3 win over the Falcons. He has been sidelined since but now appears ready to provide depth along the offensive line in Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers.

Lions' Dan Skipper: Clears physical examination
Skipper returned to practice after being re-instated from the Lions' active/non-football illness list Saturday.
It's unknown why Skipper initially landed on the active/NFI list, but he should now be ready to compete for a spot on Detroit's active roster during training camp. The 27-year-old has played a total of 10 games during his career and could provide a role as an emergency backup for the Lions this coming regular season.
