Parris was activated from the Vikings' practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
The offensive lineman tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 9, but he appears to have made a speedy recovery, returning one week later. Barring any injuries to the active roster, Parris will likely remain a practice squad player for the time being.

Parris was placed on the practice squad COVID-19 list Monday, but it wasn't known if he had actually tested positive for the virus. Parris will try to clear protocols and return to the practice field soon.

Atlanta acquired Parris from Washington after he became available on waivers last week, but he will not be thrust into the offensive line rotation Week 1. Parris is slated to serve as a backup tackle behind starters Jake Matthews and Kaleb McGary, but it appears 24-year-old Matt Gono will be the go-to reserve option at tackle against Seattle.

Atlanta acquires the 24-year-old Parris from Washington, after he made four appearances for the team between 2018 and 2019. The Stony Brook product's most direct route to playing time may come as a swing tackle, per Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com. To make room for Parris, Atlanta waived John Wetzel, but he was quickly added to the 16-man practice squad.
