Vikings' Bene Benwikere: Lands on Vikings
Benwikere signed with the Vikings on Saturday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Benwikere is a journeyman's journeyman, as the Vikings mark his sixth team in as many seasons. Due to a variety of injury and suspension issues, the 27-year-old has a legit shot to earn a spot on the team's final 53-man roster, but still has some work cut out ahead of him.

Raiders' Bene Benwikere: Lands in Oakland
Benwikere signed a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Benwikere was released by the Cardinals last week and now finds a home in a Raiders' secondary that recently lost Leon Hall (back) for the season. The 2014 fifth-round pick showed some flashes during his time with Arizona and could realistically see a notable role in Oakland's defense at some point in 2018.

Bene Benwikere: Let go by Arizona
Benwikere was released by the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Benwikere started the season strong, but he struggled with consistent tackling and coverage in recent weeks. Coach Steve Wilks said that "as the year has gone on you can see the inconsistency there," with reference to Benwikere's play. The 2014 fifth-round pick will be free to search for a role elsewhere in the league if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Cardinals' Bene Benwikere: Totals eight tackles against Chiefs
Benwikere recorded eight tackles during Sunday's loss to Kansas City.
Benwikere continues to see a heightened role in the Cardinals secondary, and his production has prospered as a result. Since Week 3, the fifth-year cornerback hasn't seen less than 58 snaps in a game and is currently averaging 5.5 tackles per game. Benwikere should continue to see quite a bit of attention playing opposite All-Pro corner Patrick Peterson.

Cardinals' Bene Benwikere: Active Sunday
Benwikere (neck) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Benwikere will suit up for the Cardinals' Week 5 matchup, but is unlikely to see a large defensive workload with Jamar Taylor (back) also active. Expect Benwikere to serve a depth role Sunday.

Cardinals' Bene Benwikere: Tagged as questionable
Benwikere (neck) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Benwikere saw 65 defensive snaps in Week 4 with Jamar Taylor (back) leaving early. Taylor is questionable this week, so Benwikere could see a large workload again. If he can't go, expect Brandon Williams and Deatrick Nichols to both see increased time.

Cardinals' Bene Benwikere: Signs with Cardinals
Benwikere signed a contract with Arizona on Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Benewikere's signing with Arizona comes on the heels of the team losing starting cornerback Tramon Williams to Green Bay in free agency. After a promising sophomore campaign in 2015 in which he recorded 59 tackles and seven passes defensed, Benwikere has had a pair of disappointing seasons, totaling just 12 tackles and five passes defensed over a combined 16 games over the last two years. He's shown the potential to be a contributor on defense, but he could be relegated to a backup role with Arizona.

Cowboys' Bene Benwikere: Traded to Dallas
The Bengals traded Benwikere to the Cowboys in exchange for a conditional draft pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Bengals were probably going to cut Benwikere anyway, so letting him go with the possibility of receiving a draft pick in return is a good move. The 2014 fifth-rounder will provide depth to an inexperienced Cowboys secondary.

Bengals' Bene Benwikere: Will join Bengals
Benwikere will sign a one-year deal with the Bengals, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Benwikere started the 2016 season as the Panthers' top cornerback but quickly fell down the ranks and was eventually released by the team following a 300-yard performance from Julio Jones. He then had a brief stints with the Dolphins and Packers to end the season. Only 25, the cornerback could play his way into a starting position with the Bengals, who are currently facing a lot of uncertainty in the secondary. Dre Kirkpatrick is a pending free agent, and Adam Jones' best days may be behind him. William Jackson III, the Bengals' 2016 first-round pick, spent the entire season on injured reserve, leaving his status in question as well. Benwikere adds depth at cornerback but will have to show signs of his former self in order to make it on the 53-man roster.

Bene Benwikere: Waived by Dolphins
Benwikere was waived by the Dolphins on Tuesday, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports.
It's been quite the season for Benwikere, who started the year as the Panthers' top cornerback. After a disastrous showing in Week 4 against the Falcons in which Julio Jones racked up over 300 receiving yards, the Panthers decide to part ways with the cornerback. The Dolphins then signed Benwikere off of waivers but kept him inactive for all four games. He now hits the market once again, and even with a disappointing track record this season, he could still find his way onto a roster looking to bolster its defensive backfield.

Dolphins' Bene Benwikere: Won't play Sunday
Benwikere (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Benwikere's absence shouldn't have much of an impact for the Dolphins' secondary, while Byron Maxwell, Tony Lippett and Bobby McCain will be the main options at cornerback.

Dolphins' Bene Benwikere: Inactive Sunday
Benwikere is inactive due to a coach's decision for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Benwikere is little more than a depth corner in Miami and his absence from the field on Sunday shouldn't impact their defense much at all.

Dolphins' Bene Benwikere: Claimed by Dolphins
Benwikere has been awarded on waivers to the Dolphins, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports.
Benwikere was released by the Panthers last week after a horrendous showing against the Falcons in Week 5, when Julio Jones' 300 receiving yards mostly came at his expense. However, prior to that down day, Benwikere had established himself as Carolina's preferred nickel cornerback and showed the ability to play outside when needed. That versatility figures to help a Dolphins secondary that's struggled with the starting combination of Byron Maxwell and Tony Lippett lately.

Bene Benwikere: Released by Panthers
Benwikere was released by the Panthers on Friday, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports.
Benwikere started all four games for the Panthers this season and recorded an interception and four pass deflections, but the team chose to remove him from the roster after he and the rest of the Panthers' defense were shredded by the Falcons' Julio Jones last week. Benwikere is in his third season and has plenty of experience, so he figures to hook on with another team before long.
