Perillo was waived by the Bears on Monday, Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune reports.

Justin Perillo: Released by Packers

Packers' Justin Perillo: Catches two passes in Week 9
Perillo caught two passes for 18 yards in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
The two receptions -- and in turn, targets -- along with the 18 yards were season highs for Perillo, but they were also his first offensive statistics since Week 6. He will remain the backup tight end behind Richard Rodgers until Jared Cook (ankle) is able to return, at which point he will slide down a spot on the depth chart and serve as the Packers' No. 3 tight end.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Catches one pass in Week 6
Perillo caught one pass for four yards in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Perillo has operated as the Packers' backup tight end while Jared Cook (ankle) has been sidelined, but he is playing only a bit role in the Packers' offense: Sunday's reception was the only one he has recorded in the two games Cook has been ruled out.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Catches first pass of season Sunday
Perillo caught one pass for 13 yards in Sunday's victory over the Lions.
Perillo played sparingly over the Packers' first two games but saw extra opportunities Sunday after Jared Cook left the game with a foot injury. It's not clear if Cook will miss more time with his setback, but if he does, Perillo would work as the Packers' No. 2 tight end behind Richard Rodgers.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Active Sunday
Perillo (knee) is active for Sunday's contest at Jacksonville, Duke Bobber of the Packers' official site reports.
Perillo followed up DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday with a limited showing Friday, clearing the way for active status in Week 1. Working behind Jared Cook and Richard Rodgers, Perillo likely won't earn more than a handful of snaps in the opener.

Perillo (knee) is questionable to play Week 1 against the Jaguars, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Perillo went down in practice Wednesday, but the nature of his knee injury remains unclear. If he's ultimately unable to play, Jared Cook and Richard Rodgers will likely handle the entirety of tight end snaps for the Packers come Sunday.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Non-participant Wednesday
Perillo did not take part in Wednesday's practice due to an undisclosed injury, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
It's not clear what type of setback Perillo is dealing with or how long it will keep him sidelined, but it puts his status for Week 1 in question. The Packers currently only have three tight ends on their 53-man roster, but they did sign tight end Devon Cajuste to the practice squad Wednesday for added depth.

Perillo caught two passes for nine yards in Friday's exhibition game with the 49ers.
Perillo did not make a major impact in Friday's game, but he has played well this preseason. He competed against Kennard Backman for the third tight end spot on the Packers' roster, but following Backman's release Tuesday, Perillo is primed to come away with the job.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Held catchless in second preseason game
Perillo, who is aiming to open the season as the Packers' No. 3 tight end, did not catch a pass in Thursday's preseason game against the Raiders.
Perillo's zero-catch effort did not help his chances of securing the third spot on the depth chart at the tight end position, but he already held the lead over Kennard Backman after catching five passes for 52 yards in the preseason opener and impressing in limited action during the 2015 regular season.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Catches two passes against Chicago
Perillo caught two passes off of two targets for nine yards in Thursday's loss to Chicago.
Perillo came out of nowhere for a five-catch game in Week 10 and scored a touchdown. In his two games since, he has been targeted just twice as compared to 12 targets for starting tight end Richard Rodgers. At this point, it seems as though Perillo's solid performance in Week 10 was more flash in the pan than anything fantasy owners can hang their hats on.

Packers' Justin Perillo: Shut out in Week 11 victory
Perillo did not record a catch in Sunday's victory over the Vikings.
Perillo came up in a big way the previous week, but he was held out of the box score in Week 11. Fellow tight end Andrew Quarless (knee) is ready or nearly ready to return, so Perillo's chances of matching his Week 10 production again this season are slim.

Perillo saw the first extended action of his career and responded in a big way, getting open several times and finding paydirt for the first time. His impressive showing may have earned him more snaps, but he remains the Packers' No. 2 tight end behind Richard Rodgers, and figures to slide down another spot when Andrew Quarless (knee) returns to action in Week 12.

Perillo was just brought up from the practice squad last week, but he played ahead of fellow tight end Kennard Backman and worked as the backup behind Richard Rodgers. The Packers have promoted Justin Perillo from the practice squad, reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
