Falcons' D.J. Tialavea: Promoted to active roster Thursday
Tialavea was promoted to the Falcons' active roster on Thursday, the team's official website reports.
Tialavea has been stashed on the team's practice squad all season, but he'll get the call up for the final two games of 2016. He'll serve as a depth tight end, and may see some work if the Falcons can wrap up a playoff spot in Week 16.
