Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Just two catches in season finale
Hill (wrist/illness) caught two of three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 32-30 loss to the Jets.
Hill finished a disappointing season on a sour note, with the star receiver falling just short of 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since an injury-shortened 2019 season. The 30-year-old was listed as questionable heading into the finale while nursing both an elbow injury and an illness and missing all of the team's practices leading up to Sunday's loss. According to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com, Hill sat out the entire fourth quarter and was non-committal regarding his future in Miami following the game, telling media in the locker room that "it was great playing here but at the end of the day, I have to do what's best for my career." The statement was an interesting one from Hill, considering that his current contract runs through the 2026 season. That being said, the Dolphins could use the talented Hill as a big trade piece this offseason if the front office decides to move the receiver, if that is indeed what he wishes.

Hill, who has been managing a wrist issue, was sidelined for Friday's practice due to an illness, before being deemed questionable for Sunday's contest. With his active status confirmed for Miami's must-win regular-season finale, Hill will have a chance to maintain the chemistry that he built with QB Tyler Huntley (who is starting once again in place of Tua Tagovailoa/hip) during the team's Week 17 win over the Browns, when he caught all nine of his targets for 105 yards.

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Questionable after Friday's DNP
Hill (wrist/illness) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Hill has been no stranger to the injury report in the second half of the season, though it's a bit worrisome that he was unable to practice at all just one day after being a full participant Thursday. The star wide receiver likely will do all he can to play Sunday because the Dolphins can make the playoffs with a win and a Denver loss to Kansas City. Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is listed as doubtful, but Hill showed good chemistry with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley in the Week 17 win over the Browns, as they connected for nine catches and 105 yards.

Hill (wrist/rest) was a full practice participant Thursday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Hill was listed as a limited participant at practice Wednesday while he continues to manage a wrist issue, but his full participation Thursday paves the way for him to be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jets. The star wideout is likely to be on the receiving end of passes from Tyler Huntley, who appears to be trending toward a second straight start in place of Tua Tagovailoa (hip).

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Limited in practice Wednesday
Hill (wrist/rest) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Hill's limitations were presumably maintenance-related, as he's dealt with the wrist issue for much of the season without missing a game. In the Dolphins' Week 17 win over the Browns, Hill played 88 percent of the snaps on offensive and finished with a 9-105-0 receiving line on nine targets. He was working with Tyler Huntley as his quarterback in that game, and head coach Mike McDaniel suggested that Huntley is trending toward a second straight start in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Jets with normal starter Tua Tagovailoa still dealing with a hip injury.
