Gerald Willis: Waived by Green Bay
The Packers waived Willis on Sunday, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Willis joined the Packers via waivers back in April, but he ultimately wasn't able to parlay his opportunity into a spot on the roster for training camp. The 24-year-old will look to latch on in a depth capacity with another organization. He appeared in two games with the Dolphins as a rookie last season.

Willis (hip) was claimed off waivers by the Packers on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Willis landed on injured reserve in December after appearing in two games for the Dolphins, and he was waived by the team over the weekend. It's unclear if the 24-year-old has fully recovered from the injury, and he'll need to pass a physical before the move becomes official.
