Lee inked a one-year deal with the Falcons back in March but has continued to miss time recently with an undisclosed injury. Falcons' Khari Lee: Held out Monday
Lee (undisclosed) continues to miss time with an unknown injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The journeyman is back in the NFL after serving an XFL stint with the DC Defenders, but he's been on the shelf of late and unable to participate in the Falcons' backup tight end competition. If Lee can return to the field and make an impression among a committee consisting of Jaeden Graham, Luke Stocker and Jared Pinkney (behind starter Hayden Hurst), he may slide into one of the final roster spots or secure a role on the 16-man practice squad. According to Matthew Tabeek of the Falcons' official site, Graham currently holds pole position as the likely second-string option to Hurst.

Bills' Khari Lee: Cut ahead of Week 5
Lee, a depth tight end who has just one reception on the season, was let go Saturday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
The Bills had a bigger need in their secondary with two regulars being very questionable to go this week, so they had to make room for defensive back Dean Marlowe on the roster. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Lee resurface with the team once other players heal up.

Bills' Khari Lee: Heading north
The Bills have claimed Lee off waivers from the Lions, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reports.
