Jaguars' Patrick Mekari: Cleared for Sunday's playoff game
Mekari (back) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's wild-card game against the Bills.
Mekari could slot back in at right guard, where he was playing prior injuring his back in Week 16 against the Broncos. Walker Little has been filling in at right guard, but Little may be needed at left tackle if the questionable Cole Van Lanen (knee) doesn't get the green light Sunday.

Jaguars' Patrick Mekari: Looks to clear concussion protocol
Mekari (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Mekari suffered a concussion Nov. 28 and was unable to play in last Sunday's win over the Titans. The starting right guard upgraded to a full participant Thursday and seems to be ready to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Colts. With Chuma Edoga (calf) and Walker Little (concussion) both questionable, Mekari's presence back on the field will be a strong boost to the Jaguars' offensive line.

Jaguars' Patrick Mekari: Dealing with back spasms
Mekari (lower back) is not expected to miss an extended period of time, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
Mekari left practice early last week and is yet to return to the field, but head coach Liam Coen said the offensive lineman isn't dealing with anything serious. The 27-year-old signed a three-year deal with Jacksonville in March after spending the first six years of his career in Baltimore and starting all 17 regular-season games in 2024. Mekari is set to play a big role in the interior of the offensive line, and the Jaguars are therefore not rushing him back on the field at this stage of camp.
