Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Gets green light for practice
Dallas designated Edoga (toe) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Edoga has been out since training camp due to a lingering toe issue, but he'll resume practicing Wednesday and could be close to making his season debut. The Cowboys will have 21 days to evaluate him before he would have to be activated or remain on IR for the rest of the season.

Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Officially placed on IR
Dallas placed Edoga (toe) on the reserve/injured list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Edoga injured his big toe in the Cowboys' preseason opener against the Rams. He'll now be forced to miss a minimum of four games, making Week 5 against the Steelers on Oct. 6 the earliest he can return. With Edoga on the shelf to begin the regular season, rookie first-round pick Tyler Guyton (knee) will start at left tackle and will be tasked with protecting Dak Prescott's blindside.

Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Set to open season on IR
After sustaining a significant injury to his left big toe in Sunday's preseason game against the Rams, Edoga is expected to be placed on the Cowboys' reserve/injured list at the start of the regular season, David Moore of The Dallas Morning News reports.
If Edoga goes on IR, he'll be forced to miss the first four games of the regular season, which puts his return date to Week 5 against Pittsburgh. With Edoga out of action, head coach Mike McCarthy relayed Tuesday that rookie first-rounder Tyler Guyton will work with the Cowboys' first-team offense at left tackle, per Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Done for day
Edoga has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's preseason game against the Rams due to a left foot injury, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
With Edoga done for the day, rookie first-round pick Tyler Guyton will take over at left tackle for the rest of Sunday's contest.

Edoga (ankle) is active Sunday against the Eagles, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Edoga will return to the field after leaving last Sunday's win over the Rams early with the injury. However, with the return of Tyron Smith (neck), Edoga is expected to fill a reserve role on the team's offensive line this week.

Cowboys' Chuma Edoga: Suffers ankle injury in win
Edoga (ankle) left in the second half of Sunday's 43-20 win over the Rams, K.D. Drummond of USA Today reports.
Edoga had to be carted off the field in the second half after injuring his right ankle and he was replaced by 2023 fifth-round pick Asim Richards. Edoga has filled in at left tackle in the absence of Tyron Smith (neck), and his injury status should be monitored ahead of the Cowboys' Week 9 matchup against the divisional rival Eagles.
