Litton was released from the Jaguars' practice squad Monday.
The undrafted quarterback out of Marshall spent the entire season on the Jaguars' practice squad. The team will now move forward with Gardner Mineshew and Joshua Dobbs as the only quarterbacks on the roster.

Litton signed with Jacksonville's practice squad Monday, Hays Carlyon of 1010 AM WJXL reports.
Litton spent all of last season on the Chiefs' practice squad. The 23-year-old has yet to see any regular-season action after going undrafted out of Marshall in 2018.

Chiefs' Chase Litton: Re-ups with Chiefs
Litton signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs on Tuesday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.
Litton signed with the Chiefs last May after going undrafted out of Marshall and spent the 2018 season on the team's practice squad. Chad Henne is under contract for 2019 and is likely to once again serve as Patrick Mahomes' backup, leaving an uphill battle for Litton to make the 53-man roster next year.

Chase Litton: Joins Chiefs' practice squad
Litton signed to the Chiefs' practice squad on Monday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
Litton re-joins the Chiefs after finishing the preseason having completed 24 of 41 passes for 299 yards and one touchdown. He'll now spend the year learning behind the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Chad Henne.
