Bills' Casey Toohill: Past knee issue
Toohill (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Toohill recorded one tackle across 21 total snaps (11 defensive and 10 on special teams) before sustaining a knee injury in the Bills' Week 9 win over the Dolphins. Wednesday's full practice suggests that he's already moved past the issue, and he's expected to keep contributing on both defense and special teams when the Bills travel to Indianapolis in Week 10.

Bills' Casey Toohill: Exits with knee injury
Toohill (knee) exited Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a knee injury and is questionable to return.
Toohill was injured while attempting to tackle De'Von Achane early in the fourth quarter. Both Dawuane Smoot and Toohill have gone down with injuries for Buffalo on Sunday, leaving the Bills shorthanded off the edge.

Bills' Casey Toohill: Heads to Buffalo
Toohill (shoulder) signed a one-year contract with the Bills on Tuesday, Patrick Warren of the team's official site reports.
Toohill appeared in 16 games last season, missing the Commanders' final contest due to a shoulder injury. The Stanford product notched a career-high 5.0 sacks in 2023 and should bolster Buffalo's depth off the edge now that he's healthy.

Commanders' Casey Toohill: Ends year with 5.0 sacks
Toohill (shoulder) started eight of his 16 games in 2023 and finished the year with 26 tackles (17 solo), 5.0 sacks and one pass defense.
He became a starter after the Commanders traded defensive ends Chase Young and Montez Sweat in October, though 4.0 of Toohill's 5.0 sacks actually occurred before those deals. He didn't have much luck rushing passers in a full-time role, and the 2020 seventh-round pick may have to settle for a backup job as he prepares for unrestricted free agency after missing Week 18 with a shoulder injury.

Commanders' Casey Toohill: Not playing Sunday
Toohill (shoulder) is inactive Sunday against the Cowboys.
Toohill went from full participant to DNP during three days of practice this week, setting the stage for his inability to suit up in the Commanders' season finale. Joshua Pryor and K.J. Henry will both be candidates to see extra snaps Sunday.

Commanders' Casey Toohill: Not listed on injury report
Toohill doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against Dallas, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
Toohill landed in concussion protocols following the team's Week 2 loss to the Lions and was sidelined for Week 3. However, he returned to full participation during Thursday's practice and appears to be good to go for Week 4. When available, Toohill has operated as a rotational depth piece along Washington's defensive line, and he figures to resume that role now that he's healthy.

Commanders' Casey Toohill: Logs full practice Thursday
Toohill (concussion) was a full participant during Thursday's practice.
Toohill suffered a concussion during the team's Week 2 contest against Detroit, and he ultimately failed to suit up Sunday against the Eagles. Although the 26-year-old's ability to practice in full Thursday is an encouraging sign, he'll still have to clear concussion protocols prior to Sunday's matchup against Dallas. Expect to hear more regarding Toohill's Week 4 availability in coming days, but with fellow defensive end James Smith-Williams (abdomen) listed as questionable, there's a chance Washington might have to heavily lean on Montez Sweat, Shaka Toney and Efe Obada.
