Bills' Matthew Judon: Elevated for Sunday
The Bills elevated Judon from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.
Judon is set to play in his first game for the Bills on Sunday. The veteran defensive end will likely see rotational snaps on the defensive line due to the injuries to Joey Bosa (hamstring), DaQuan Jones (calf), Deone Walker (illness) and Jordan Phillips (ankle).

Matthew Judon: Officially signs with Buffalo
Judon signed with the Bills' practice squad Saturday.
The 33-year-old edge rusher was dropped by the Dolphins on Dec. 17 but has already found a new home in Buffalo. Judon had an underwhelming 2025 campaign with the Dolphins, appearing in 13 games and recording just 19 total tackles with no sacks. Now in Buffalo, he'll add a veteran presence to the team's pass-rush unit and be available for the final regular-season games and the postseason, assuming the Bills qualify.

Matthew Judon: Plans to join Bills' practice squad
Judon intends to sign with Buffalo's practice squad, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Judon was waived by the Dolphins on Wednesday. He could provide valuable pass-rush support to Buffalo's playoff push once he's up to speed with the Bills, assuming his signing is made official.

Matthew Judon: Out in Miami
The Dolphins waived Judon on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The 33-year-old appeared in 13 games with the Dolphins before being waived on Wednesday, recording 19 total tackles and one pass defensed. Judon has been a very productive pass rusher over the course of his 10-year NFL career, totaling 72.0 sacks. Now a free agent, he could be picked up by a team in need of edge-rusher depth in the near future.

Dolphins' Matthew Judon: Healthy scratch Week 7
Judon (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Judon has worked in a rotational role at defensive end through the first six games of the regular season, accumulating six tackles (three solo) over that span. He will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's road game, which gives Kenneth Grant, Matthew Butler and rookie fifth-rounder Jordan Phillips more opportunities for snaps on the Dolphins' defensive line.

Dolphins' Matthew Judon: Set to join Miami
The Dolphins are slated to sign Judon to a one-year contract worth up to $6 million, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Judon was brought in for a visit with the Dolphins on Monday, and the meeting between the two sides went well enough for the veteran edge rusher to stick around in Miami. The 2016 fifth-rounder is coming off a disappointing 2024 campaign with the Falcons, when he finished with 41 tackles (25 solo), including 5.5 sacks, and five pass defenses (including a pick-six) across 17 regular-season games. Judon won't be brought in to serve in an every-down role, but he should get some rotational work at edge rusher with starters Bradley Chubb and Chop Robinson.

Matthew Judon: Visiting Miami
Judon, who is a free agent, is visiting with the Dolphins on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Judon spent the 2024 season with the Falcons, appearing in all 17 regular-season games (15 starts), and registered 41 tackles (25 solo), including 5.5 sacks, and five pass breakups, including one interception, which Judon returned 27 yards for a touchdown. Judon has certainly lost a step at 33 years old and can't be relied upon as an every-down edge player at this stage of his career, but he still may have some pass-rush juice left in a sub-package role.
