Roberson suffered a concussion during Saturday's preseason contest against the Titans, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Roberson joined the league in 2016 by signing with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent, but he has yet to make his NFL debut. The 28-year-old missed all of the 2020 campaign after injuring his foot before training camp and will likely be a long shot to make the Bears' 53-man roster this season.

Bears' Tre Roberson: Reverts to reserve/NFI
Roberson (foot) reverted to the reserve/non-football injury list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Per Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic, the Bears waived Roberson with a non-football injury designation Tuesday. Afterward, it was revealed Roberson suffered a broken foot while training for the season, according to Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site. Per the terms of the CBA, Roberson won't be allowed to practice until six weeks of the regular season have passed and can't be activated to the active roster until Week 9 at Tennessee. Whenever he's able to take the field, he'll be making his NFL debut.

Bears' Tre Roberson: Finds home in Windy City
Roberson agreed to a contract with the Bears on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Roberson was thought to be the top CFL free agent this offseason, as he's expected to ink the largest CFL-to-NFL contract since Cameron Wake joined the Dolphins in 2009. Roberson was outstanding for Calgary this past season, racking up 41 tackles and seven interceptions (he returned two for touchdowns) in 16 games. The Illinois State product will add even more talent to a Bears secondary that ranked ninth in the league against the pass in 2019.

Vikings' Tre Roberson: Suffers broken bone in hand
Roberson is dealing with a broken bone in his right hand, Joel Badzinski of the Pioneer Press reports.
Roberson suffered the injury during the Vikings' preseason opener and originally attempted to play through the injury. However, after the medical staff discovered the break, they held him out of practice last week, which eventually forced him to remain sidelined during the team's second preseason game against the Seahawks. Roberson claims he won't need surgery, but he'll still have to wear "medical gear" for roughly two weeks. It's a tough break for the 23-year-old converted cornerback, who is not a lock to make the final roster.
