Justin Rigg: Let go by Tennessee
The Titans waived Rigg on Sunday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Rigg hauled in just one catch for five yards in the Titans' preseason opener against the Bears on Aug. 12. It was always an uphill battle to crack a depth role at tight end against Trevon Wesco and Josh Whyle. Once he clears waivers, Rigg will look to land on another team's practice squad.

Titans' Justin Rigg: Lands new deal
Rigg signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Thursday, John Glennon of SI.com reports.
Rigg spent training camp with the Bengals after joining them as a UDFA in May. However, after being unable to make the team out of camp, he did find his way to the Steelers' practice squad. Ultimately, the 24-year-old was unable to maintain a spot with the team. He'll now work toward earning an opportunity with the Titans.

Justin Rigg: Cut loose from practice squad
The Steelers waived Rigg from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Rigg spent time with the Bengals throughout training camp and preseason, but he was later waived by the team prior to the NFL's 53-man roster deadline in late-August. The rookie tight end joined the Steelers' practice squad the following Thursday, but his tenure in Pittsburgh came to a close after the team waived him Tuesday. He'll now wait for another opportunity across the league to make his NFL debut.

Justin Rigg: Joins Pittsburgh's practice squad
The Steelers signed Rigg to their practice squad Thursday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Rigg was waived by the Bengals ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline, but he quickly found a new home in Pittsburgh via the practice squad. The undrafted rookie out of Kentucky was solid during his first NFL training camp and caught a three-yard touchdown during the Bengals' preseason finale.

The Bengals waived Rigg on Tuesday.
Rigg caught a three-yard touchdown during the Bengals' preseason finale, his only catch of the preseason, but he didn't do enough during training camp to land a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster. The 6-foot-6 tight end signed with Cincinnati in May as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky, and he may land on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
