Chase Allen: Works out for Atlanta
Allen worked out for the Falcons on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Allen was waived by the Bears in early August after he reached an injury settlement following an undisclosed injury, but he now appears healthy. The tight end appeared in one game with Chicago last season, and he'll likely have to settle for a practice squad spot if he latches on with Atlanta.

Chase Allen: Reaches injury settlement
Allen (undisclosed) has been waived off injured reserve by the Bears with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Allen will now be free to look for a new opportunity once he is back to full health. The 26-year-old signed with Chicago as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and ultimately suited up for one game. He spent the majority of the season on their practice squad.

Allen (undisclosed) reverted to the Bears' injured reserve Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Allen was waived by Chicago with an injury designation Saturday, and he'll be forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team. It's unclear what injury he's dealing with, but Saturday's move allowed the Bears to sign Marcedes Lewis.

Allen (undisclosed) was waived by the Bears with an injury designation Saturday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Allen will revert to IR, assuming he can clear waivers. The 24-year-old played in one game for Chicago last season, seeing just two snaps on offense, while the rest of his campaign was spent on the practice squad. In a corresponding move, the team signed veteran Marcedes Lewis.

Bears' Chase Allen: Staying in Chicago
The Bears signed Allen to a reserve/future contract Monday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.
Allen joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent back in May of 2022, where he eventually spent all but one game of this past campaign on the team's practice squad. The 25-year-old is now slated to remain with Chicago throughout the offseason and compete for a spot on the Bears' active roster next year.

Bears' Chase Allen: Elevated from practice squad
Chicago elevated Allen to its active roster from the practice squad Friday ahead of Saturday's matchup against Buffalo, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.
With Trevon Wesco (calf) out, Allen has been elevated from the practice squad and will be eligible to make his NFL debut in Week 16. The undrafted rookie out of Iowa State caught 62 of 94 targets for 687 yards and six touchdowns during his final three collegiate campaigns.
