  • Eagles' Hollywood Brown: In mix among WR corps

Brown enters training camp competing for a role in Philadelphia's wide receiver rotation following the team's trade of A.J. Brown to the Patriots, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports.

Brown signed with the Eagles early in free agency and now finds himself competing for opportunities in a reshaped receiving corps. DeVonta Smith is entrenched as the team's No. 1 wideout, while rookie first-round pick Makai Lemon and tight end Dallas Goedert also stand to benefit from the departure of A.J. Brown. Brown's experience and ability to stretch the field could help him carve out a role, though he faces competition from Dontayvion Wicks and Elijah Moore as training camp approaches. The 29-year-old put up a 49-587-5 line (on 74 targets) across 16 regular-season appearances with the Chiefs in 2025.

  • Eagles' Hollywood Brown: Links up with Eagles

Brown is slated to sign a one-year contract with Philadelphia, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

With trade speculation still surrounding A.J. Brown, the addition of the 2019 first-round pick provides some needed depth at wideout for the Eagles behind DeVonta Smith. Across 16 regular-season appearances with Kansas City in 2025, Brown secured 49 of 74 targets for 587 yards and five scores.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Notches three catches in Week 18

Brown gathered in three of six targets for 64 yards during Sunday's 14-12 loss to the Raiders.

With the Chiefs missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2014, Brown's 2025 campaign officially comes to a close. The 28-year-old wideout posted another middle-of-the-road campaign this season, racking up 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns on 74 targets over 16 games. While he missed one, it's certainly a better sign that the veteran was able to stay healthy for the majority of 2025 after missing all but two games last season, and he'll head to free agency this offseason after only signing a one-year pact with KC prior to this year. Brown doesn't figure to command huge numbers but should have a spot on a roster somewhere again next year.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: One catch in Week 17 loss

Brown brought in one of three targets for seven yards in the Chiefs' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Thursday night.

Despite the fact both Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton were placed on injured reserve earlier in the week due to their respective concussions, Brown had a minimal impact while working with third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun. Irrespective of who's been under center, Brown has struggled with his production down the stretch, as Thursday marked his fifth straight game with less than 40 receiving yards.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Three catches in Week 16 loss

Brown caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in the Chiefs' 26-9 loss to the Titans on Sunday.

With Rashee Rice (concussion) and Tyquan Thornton (concussion) inactive against Tennessee, Brown operated as the Chiefs' clear WR2 alongside Xavier Worthy. Unfortunately for Brown, Patrick Mahomes (knee) is out for the remainder of the season, and backup Gardner Minshew suffered a potentially significant knee injury of his own against Tennessee, leaving Chris Oladokun as Kansas City's quarterback by default. It's a lost season for Kansas City, and Brown won't be a recommended fantasy target Thursday against the Broncos.
