Wade's shoulder injury could be the beginning of the end for the cornerback. The 27-year-old ended the 2025 season in early August when he reverted to the Bears' injured reserve. Wade's 2025 fate could be playing out once more, as the cornerback is on the roster bubble as it is and could be waived/injured by the Eagles very soon.

The Bears released Wade (undisclosed) from injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wade had been placed on season-ending IR due to an undisclosed injury Aug. 12, but he'll now be able to sign with another team and play this year once he gets healthy. The 26-year-old cornerback hasn't logged a snap in an NFL regular-season contest since 2023, when he played in 14 contests with the Patriots, recording 23 tackles and one defensed pass.

Wade (undisclosed) reverted to the Bears' injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Wade has been working through an unspecified injury, which forced him to miss the Bears' preseason tie against the Dolphins on Sunday. He was injured/waived by Chicago, but he was shifted to the team's IR after going unclaimed off waivers. As such, Wade will be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Bears. Shaun Wade: Let go by Chargers
Wade was cut by the Chargers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The cornerback signed with the 53-man roster from the practice squad Monday, but he did not appear in the Bolts' 17-15 loss to the Cardinals. Wade played on 337 defensive snaps across 14 regular-season games for the Patriots in 2023, the most NFL action he's seen since getting drafted by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2021 draft.
