Burton began the season on the practice squad injured list with a hamstring injury, but he'll now be able to return to the field. The 27-year-old appeared in just seven games across his first two seasons in Dallas.

After failing to make the initial 53-man roster, Burton was signed to Dallas' practice squad. He has since picked up a hamstring issue and will be forced to miss some time. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it certainly impacts his chances of a promotion to the active roster anytime soon.
