Deante Burton: Lands on practice squad IR
Burton (hamstring) was placed on Dallas' practice squad injured list Monday.

Deante Burton: Done in Dallas
The Cowboys released Burton (shoulder) on Tuesday, Rob Phillips of the team's official site reports.
Burton appeared in seven games with the Cowboys over the last two seasons, so he could be a candidate to pop back up on the practice squad. In any case, the veteran cornerback isn't a candidate to show up on the fantasy radar in IDP formats.

Cowboys' Deante Burton: Hits injured reserve
The Cowboys placed Burton (shoulder) on IR on Saturday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Burton will miss the final three games of the regular season due to his shoulder injury, but he only played a reserve role in Dallas' secondary. On a more positive note for the Cowboys, Trevon Diggs (foot) is expected to come off IR.

Cowboys' Deante Burton: Out against San Francisco
Burton (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the 49ers, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Burton plays sparingly on defense, and his services would be designated for special teams in Week 15 because Anthony Brown, Jourdan Lewis and Chidobe Awuzie are all healthy. He'll aim to return next week against the Eagles.

Cowboys' Deante Burton: Gets the call
The Cowboys elevated Burton to the 53-man roster from the practice squad Sunday.
Burton will take the place of Chidobe Awuzie, who was placed on IR on Saturday with a hamstring injury. Burton saw action in three games with the Cowboys in 2019, seeing just three defensive snaps, so he'll likely assume a similar role if he suits up in Week 3.

Cowboys' Deante Burton: From Colts to Cowboys
Dallas signed Burton off the Colts' practice squad Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Burton will fill Anthony Brown's roster spot with the Cowboys. The 25-year-old cornerback has yet to play a down in 2019, so Burton need not be considered for a fantasy roster spot at this stage of his career.

Texans' Deante Burton: Picks up injury
Burton (undisclosed) did not practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Burton was spotted with an ice pack on his leg. The third-year cornerback is competing for a depth role in Houston's secondary, and missing any time due to injury could impact his chances of making the 53-man roster.
