Colts' Micheal Clemons: Signing with Indy
Clemons and the Colts have agreed to terms on a three-year deal, Mike Chappell of fox59.com reports.
The deal is reported to be worth $17.5 million, with up to $18.5 million in earnings possible. Clemons produced 22 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defensed over 16 games in the 2025 regular season. The defensive end likely will play opposite Laiatu Latu in 2026, battling with 2025 second-rounder JT Tuimoloau for defensive snaps.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Not playing vs. Buffalo
Clemons (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Clemons was held out of practice all week due to an ankle injury and won't suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale. The fourth-year pro will end the 2025 regular season with 22 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, and two pass defenses across 16 games. Eric Watts will serve as the Jets' top rotational defensive end behind Jermaine Johnson and Braiden McGregor in Clemons' absence.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Career year in 2024
Clemons tallied 34 total tackles, including 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble over 17 games in 2024.
The third-year pro from Texas A&M started all 17 of the Jets' games this season and set a new career high in sacks, solidifying himself as one of New York's best edge rushers. Clemons began to see less defensive work once Haason Reddick returned from his contract dispute in Week 8, but he still logged a career-high 581 defensive snaps played this season. Heading into the final season of his rookie deal in 2025, Clemons has accumulated 97 total tackles, including 7.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles across 49 games with the Jets over the past three years.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Gets another sack
Clemons recorded two tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Sunday's 23-17 loss against the Vikings.
Clemons' sack in Week 5 brought his season total up to 2.5, which already ties the career high he set back in 2022. With Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) on injured reserve and Haason Reddick still missing time due to a contract dispute, Clemons' starting role doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Appears set for Thursday start
Clemons is expected to serve as a starting defensive end Thursday against the Patriots with Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) out for the season and Haason Reddick (contract dispute) continuing to hold out, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Clemons played 43 percent and 50 percent of the Jets' defensive snaps in first two games of the season, respectively, recording two tackles (one solo) including 1.0 sacks in Week 1 against the 49ers and one solo tackle versus the Titans in Week 2. Now primed for a start across from Will McDonald, Clemons faces a solid opportunity to take advantage of New England's struggling O-line and continue building his sack total versus Jacoby Brissett.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Will suit up vs. Titans
Jets coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Clemons (triceps) will practice in full to end the week and will be ready for Sunday's game against the Titans, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Clemons was limited in practice Thursday due to a triceps issue, but he's ready to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against Tennessee. The 27-year-old defensive end played 43 percent of New York's defensive snaps during Monday night's loss to the 49ers, tallying two tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Officially questionable for Sunday
Clemons (triceps) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Head coach Robert Saleh told reporters earlier Friday that Clemons will suit up for Sunday's affair, but the team's injury report released later that day lists him as questionable. If the 27-year-old is unable to go in Week 2, expect Takkarist McKinley and 2023 first-round pick Will McDonald to see increased work on the Jets' defensive line.

Jets' Micheal Clemons: Gets downgraded
Clemons (triceps) was a limited participant during practice Thursday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Clemons was a full participant Wednesday, so he may have suffered the injury during practice. A late-week downgrade usually doesn't bode well for a player's chances of suiting up on game day, but considering Clemons was at least able to practice in a limited fashion, it might not be all bad for the 27-year-old. If he is unable to suit up, the Jets may have to lean on Takkarist McKinley and Will McDonald more to help generate a pass rush against the Titans.
