Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Able to take part in OTAs
Lucas (abdomen) has been participating in the Seahawks' offseason training activities, Cameron Van Til of Seattle Sports reports.
Lucas suffered an injury to his abdomen late last season and was placed on IR ahead of Seattle's regular-season finale. Van Til reports that Lucas "appears to be in great shape and moving well" while working with the first-team offense during OTAs, so he seems to be mostly healthy again, though he implied Wednesday that he's not quite 100 percent. Lucas' health this season will be a key factor for Seattle's offensive line, as the 2022 third-rounder is slated to start at right tackle.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Feels good going into offseason
Lucas said Tuesday that the abdominal injury that kept him out in Week 18 against the Rams isn't long-term, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Lucas had a surgery on his knee in January 2024 after dealing with lingering issues the season prior, and he wasn't able to return for the most recent campaign until November. Then, the Seahawks placed him on injured reserve ahead of the regular-season finale with an abdominal issue, meaning he was only to appear in seven games during the season. He'll be hoping to avoid the injury bug in 2025.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Lands on IR due to abdomen injury
The Seahawks placed Lucas (abdomen) on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Lucas was already ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Rams due to an abdominal injury. Stone Forsythe and Michael Jerrell are the two likely candidates to take Lucas' starting spot at right tackle.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Won't play in regular-season finale
Lucas (abdomen) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Colin Gunther of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Lucas was unable to practice all week due to an abdominal injury, and his absence Sunday means he is done for the 2024 regular season. He missed the first nine games of the season due to a knee injury, but he returned in Week 11 and started at right tackle in the following seven contests. Michael Jerrell and Stone Forsythe are the top candidates to start at right tackle Sunday due to Lucas' injury.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Returning in Week 11
Lucas (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the 49ers, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Lucas was activated from the Seahawks' reserve/PUP list Wednesday and practiced in full Friday, suggesting he's moved past his knee issue in time for Sunday's divisional matchup. Now that Lucas is back at full health, he's expected to serve as Seattle's top right tackle as the season progresses.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Full participant Thursday
Lucas (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
The right tackle was activated from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, the last day of his 21-day practice window. If he hadn't been activated by the end of the window, he would have had to miss the remainder of the season. Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Lucas making his season debut Sunday against the 49ers was a "realistic expectation," per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Moves off PUP list
Lucas (knee) was activated from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Lucas' 21-day window to practice with the team was coming to a close, so if Seattle didn't move him to the active roster, he'd be lost for the remainder of the season. However, the 26-year-old has been practicing on a limited basis for the last couple of weeks and, according to head coach Mike McDonald, Lucas has looked "really good" and it's a "realistic expectation at this point," for him to play Sunday against the 49ers, as reported by Brady Henderson of ESPN.com.
