Kylin Hill: Waived by Green Bay
The Packers waived Hill on Tuesday.
Hill suffered a torn ACL on a kick return during his rookie season and was sidelined for the start of the 2022 campaign. The 2021 seventh-round pick made his season debut against the Lions in Week 9, but he saw just nine total snaps (one offensive) over the Packers' past two games. If the running back clears waivers, Green Bay may be interested in signing him to the practice squad, but Hill, who flashed during preseason action as a rookie, may draw some interest from around the league.

Packers' Kylin Hill: Records carry in return
Hill had one carry for seven yards in Sunday's 15-9 loss to the Lions.
Hill was only on the field for three offensive snaps, but he did record his first carry since tearing his ACL in Week 8 of the 2021 campaign. Hill could see more work in Week 10 if fellow running back Aaron Jones (ankle) is unable to go, but in that scenario he would still find himself behind AJ Dillon on the depth chart.

Packers' Kylin Hill: Activated from PUP list
The Packers activated Hill (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.
Hill has yet to play this season while rehabbing from the torn ACL he suffered last year, but he's in line to make his 2022 debut Sunday against the Lions. Green Bay waived Patrick Taylor on Tuesday, so Hill figures to be the No. 3 running back behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. The second-year back out of Mississippi State is also a strong option to handle kick-return duties.

The Packers designated Hill (knee) for return from the PUP list Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The transaction now opens a 21-day window wherein the Packers can monitor Hill at practice, and he's eligible to be added to the 53-man roster at any point during that three-week span. The second-year player, who is working his way back from a torn ACL, could challenge Patrick Taylor for the No. 3 backfield role when back to full form. Hill may also be a candidate to handle kick-return duties for Green Bay.

Hill remains on the reserve/PUP list, and it looks like the Packers will take more time before kickstarting his 21-day practice window. Patrick Taylor is currently handling the No. 3 reserve role behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.

The Packers placed Hill (knee) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Hill tore his ACL against the Cardinals in Week 8 last year and has remained sidelined since. He'll miss a minimum of four regular-season games in 2022 and will be eligible to return Week 5 against the Giants. When healthy, the 2021 seventh-round pick projects to be the Packers No. 3 running back behind the dynamic duo of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, while also providing a boost to Green Bay's kick-return unit. Hill shined during last year's preseason, but he struggled to find offensive snaps behind Jones and Dillon during the regular season, which will likely continue in 2022.

Packers' Kylin Hill: Starting camp on PUP list
Hill (knee) has been placed on the PUP list ahead of training camp, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Also placed on the list was fellow running back Patrick Taylor (undisclosed), with both players eligible to be activated for practice at any time during training camp. Hill is bouncing back from a torn ACL that he suffered last October, and once he's back to full speed, the 2021 seventh-rounder will look to cement his depth role in Green Bay's backfield behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.

Packers' Kylin Hill: Eager to return
Hill is jogging again and feels confident he can cut, and running backs coach Ben Sirmans said he looks "hungrier" than he did in his rookie year, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Hill saw limited offensive snaps and managed kick-return duty for the Packers in his rookie season before he tore his ACL in October. Assuming he can work back from the injury in a timely manner, he'll compete for Green Bay's third running-back spot with Patrick Taylor, who he beat out for the role last year, and rookie UDFAs B.J. Baylor, who was less productive than Hill in college despite playing at almost a year older, and Tyler Goodson, who may be too small (5-foot-9, 197 pounds) to handle carries between the tackles in the NFL.

Packers' Kylin Hill: Rehabbing during OTAs
Hill (knee) was spotted rehabbing off to the side of the Packers' OTA on Tuesday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
The seventh-round pick out of Mississippi State shined during the preseason last year, earning a spot on the initial 53-man roster, and operated as the Packers' primary kick returner until he suffered a torn ACL during Week 8 against the Cardinals. It's unclear if Hill will be 100 percent healthy by the start of the 2022 campaign, but it's still a positive sign to see the youngster getting in workouts during the offseason.
