Kelvin Joseph: Waived by Kansas City
The Chiefs waived Joseph (hamstring) on Monday.
Joseph dealt with a hamstring issue early in training camp, but he's now been waived without an injury designation, an indication that he's returned to full health. His ability to contribute on special teams could help Joseph's chances of earning a spot on the practice squad this season.

Chiefs' Kelvin Joseph: Nursing hamstring issue
Joseph was sidelined with a hamstring injury at the Chiefs' training camp practice Tuesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Joseph signed with Kansas City in January, and he's expected to operate as a depth option behind Joshua Williams and Nazeeh Johnson at cornerback this season. The 24-year-old will look to get back on the practice field ahead of Saturday's preseason opener against the Jaguars.

Dolphins' Kelvin Joseph: Traded to Miami
Dallas traded Joseph to Miami in exchange for Noah Igbinoghene on Tuesday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.
A 2021 second-round pick, Joseph appeared in 26 games over two seasons in Dallas, totaling 36 tackles, four pass defenses and one forced fumble. He'll look to carve out a role in a secondary that's already lost Jalen Ramsey (knee) for the season.

Cowboys' Kelvin Joseph: Practicing again
Joseph (back) participated in Dallas' practice Saturday, the team's official site reports.
The cornerback injured his back on June 7 and had to leave that day's session. A second-round pick in 2021, Joseph recorded 20 tackles, two passes defended and a forced fumble last season in 16 games (including one start). The 23-year-old is projected to play a backup role behind Trevon Diggs in 2023.
