Austin Cutting: Let go by Minnesota
The Vikings waived Cutting on Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Cutting was let go from the team following last week's win over the Panthers, but the team hopes to add him back to its practice squad should the Air Force product clear waivers. If he returns to the Vikings, Cutting could remain in the team's system for the remainder of the season before making a push next offseason for the starting long-snapper role heading into the 2021 season.

Vikings' Austin Cutting: Lands on COVID-19 list
The Vikings placed Cutting on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
Cutting has either tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with an infected person. If it's the latter, he'll have an opportunity to test negative through Sunday and play in Monday's matchup against the Bears. It's unclear who will serve as the team's long snapper if Cutting misses time.
