Packers' Keisean Nixon: Picks off Goff in Week 14
Nixon registered 10 tackles (three solo) and two pass defenses (including an interception) in Thursday's 34-31 loss to Detroit.
Nixon tied Quay Walker as the Packers' second-leading tackler this past Thursday behind Isaiah McDuffie (15). Nixon logged his first interception of the season when he picked off Jared Goff early in the third quarter, which set the Packers up deep in Lions' territory and led to a six-yard touchdown run by Josh Jacobs three plays later. Through 13 regular-season games, Nixon has logged 65 tackles (42 solo), including 2.0 sacks, six pass defenses (including one interception) and two forced fumbles.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Tallies six stops in loss
Nixon recorded six total tackles (four solo) and one quarterback hit in Sunday's 24-14 loss to the Lions.
The South Carolina product tied Edgerrin Cooper and Xavier McKinney for the second-most tackles in Sunday's loss, trailing Quay Walker's 12-stop performance. Nixon has now started all nine of Green Bay's games this season, recording 42 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and three passes defended. He's expected to continue making plays for the Packers' defense following the team's Week 10 bye.

Nixon (hamstring) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Wes Hodklewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Nixon practiced in a limited fashion both Wednesday and Thursday, but he upgraded to a full workload Friday, suggesting he's moved past his hamstring issue in time for Sunday's contest. Expect Nixon to start opposite Jaire Alexander as part of the Packers' top outside cornerback duo in Week 8.

Nixon played every single defensive snap during the Packers' win over the Texans this past Sunday, during which he logged five tackles (two solo). He may have tweaked his hamstring in the process, however, and he was limited during Wednesday's session as a result. Nixon will have two more chances to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Jacksonville. Through the first seven games of the regular season, Nixon has logged 32 tackles (23 solo), including 2.0 sacks, three pass breakups and one forced fumble.

Nixon made a huge play in the fourth quarter to keep the Packers in Sunday's contest, logging a strip-sack on Sam Darnold that led to a two-play touchdown drive for Green Bay. Nixon finished a clear third among Packers cornerbacks in Week 1 snaps, and he also picked up the first full sack of his career. He signed a three-year contract with Green Bay over the offseason, so expect him to continue filling a key role -- both on defense and special teams.

Packers' Keisean Nixon: Re-ups with Green Bay
The Packers are re-signing Nixon to a three-year, $18 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Nixon was named a first-team All-Pro in both 2022 and 2023 as a return man, but last season is when he saw his defensive role heightened, playing a career-high 809 snaps with the majority of those coming as the Packers' slot corner. He remained extremely effective on kickoff returns, averaging an NFL-best 26.1 yards per return while leading the league in total kickoff returns (30) and yards (782). On defense, Nixon racked up 80 tackles (59 solo), one interception and 0.5 sacks.
