Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Lands on IR
Reed (quadriceps) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Reed was already ruled out for this Week 15 matchup against the Packers due to a nagging quad problem that prevented him from practicing all week long, and the placement on injured reserve will sideline him for the rest of the regular season. His absence won't affect many fantasy decisions. Reed has logged only four defensive snaps over five contests on the campaign.

Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Won't play vs. Atlanta
Reed (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, Colin Gunther of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Reed opened the season on the reserve/PUP list while in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL he suffered in November 2023. His 21-day practice window opened Monday, and while he was able to finish the week strong with a full practice session Friday, he will not be active for Sunday's game. Given his progression, it wouldn't be surprising if Reed was able to suit up for Week 8 against Buffalo on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Uncertain for Week 1
Reed (knee) has made progress in his rehab from a torn ACL but isn't a sure thing for Week 1 of the 2024 season, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Reed tore his ACL after suiting up for 10 games last season, tallying 11 total tackles. The 2023 sixth-round pick played almost entirely on special teams as a rookie, and he will fill a similar role when healthy. It sounds like Reed's recovery could linger into the 2024 regular season.
