During his two seasons in Indianapolis, the 27-year-old appeared in just eight games and recorded four total tackles. Now that he's been reinstated, Berry will attempt to make another roster this offseason.

  • Lions' Rashod Berry: Remaining in Detroit

Berry re-signed with the Lions on Thursday.

Berry had a minimal role with Detroit in 2021, as he was on the field for only 59 defensive snaps. He should continue to serve as a depth option among the team's linebacker corps in 2022.

  • Lions' Rashod Berry: Ready to go for Week 18

Berry (illness) has not appeared on the injury report this week and looks ready for Week 18 against the Packers.

The linebacker missed the Lions' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks while dealing with an illness, but he appears ready to go for Week 18. Berry has played in four games this season, making one tackle over 49 defensive snaps.

  • Lions' Rashod Berry: Not facing Seattle on Sunday

Berry (illness) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Berry will miss Detroit's final road game of the regular season due to an illness, though it remains to be seen if it's COVID-19 or not. The second-year linebacker has played just 49 defensive snaps across four games for the Lions this season, so his absence shouldn't affect many fantasy rosters.
