Tampa Bay worked out Murray (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Chicago cut Murray with an undisclosed injury prior to the start of the regular season, but it now looks like he's back in playing shape after Week 3. The Buccaneers are dealing with injuries to three starting offensive lineman currently, so it makes some sense that they're exploring options to beef up their depth up front.

Murray's injury settlement will allow him to freely sign with a team and contribute during the 2025 season, once healthy. At that time, the offensive lineman will look for an opportunity to catch on in a depth capacity, whether with another team or via reunion with Chicago.

Bears' Bill Murray: Lands on IR with pectoral injury
The Bears placed Murray (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Murray suffered a pectoral injury during the Bears' 18-15 loss to the Commanders on Sunday. The 27-year-old offensive lineman will now be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games and the earliest he can return is Week 13 against the Lions on Nov. 28. Murray entered Sunday's game at left guard for starter Teven Jenkins (knee), and if the latter can't play against the Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 3, Nate Davis figures to be the next man up at the position.

The backup guard replaced Teven Jenkins, who exited with a knee injury. Murray has now played in three games for the Bears this year, starting none. Chicago's left guard depth chart will be worth monitoring as the week goes on.

Bill Murray: Returns to practice
Murray, who's on the Patriots' practice squad, was at practice Thursday, indicating his removal from the reserve/COVID-19 list, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Murray was placed on the list due to either testing positive for the virus, or coming into close contact with someone who did. Now back on the field, he'll continue to work his way for a chance at a 53-man roster spot this season.
