Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Activated from IR, playing Week 12
The Lions activated Dorsey (wrist) from injured reserve Saturday, and he no longer carries an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Giants.
Dorsey has officially been cleared to return from a six-game absence due to a wrist injury. He logged four solo tackles over four regular-season games prior to his injury while mostly serving on special teams.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Chance to return Week 12
Dorsey (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Dorsey's 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve opened Wednesday, and he ended the week with back-to-back full practices. He would have to be activated from IR in order to play Sunday; if not, then his next opportunity to play is Thursday against the Packers. Dorsey has missed the Lions' last six games while on IR due to a wrist injury.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Designated to return from IR
Dorsey (wrist) had his 21-day practice window opened Thursday, Benjamin Raven of mlive.com reports.
Dorsey hurt his wrist Week 4 against Cleveland and subsequently landed on IR. He was designated to return Thursday and logged a full session during his first day back at practice. That gives Dorsey a chance of returning for Sunday's game against the Giants, though he'd need to first be activated by the Lions.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Shifts to IR
Dorsey (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
The corner from Northern Arizona will now be forced to miss at least the Lions' next four games after sustaining a concussion in the Week 5 win over the Bengals. Prior to his injury, Dorsey played 74 total snaps (55 on special teams, 19 on defense) and recorded four total tackles across four contests. With Dorsey, Terrion Arnold (shoulder), D.J. Reed (hamstring) and Ennis Rakestraw (shoulder) all out for the Week 6 matchup against the Chiefs, Detroit's cornerback room currently consists of just Amik Robertson, Avonte Maddox and Rock Ya-Sin.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Expected to miss some time
Coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Dorsey (concussion) will be out "for a while," Justin Rogers of DetroitFootball.net reports.
Dorsey logged just 19 defensive snaps across the first four games of the season before missing Sunday's win over the Bengals. With all of the injuries in the Lions' secondary, Dorsey likely would have been looking at an increased role on defense, but he'll join Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and D.J. Reed (hamstring, IR) on the shelf.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Placed on active/PUP list
Dorsey (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list by the Lions on Thursday.
Once he's ready to ready to practice, the depth corner and kickoff return man can be activated from the list at any time throughout training camp and the preseason. Dorsey has played mostly on special teams during parts of three NFL seasons with Baltimore and Detroit, though he has accumulated 244 and 159 kickoff return yards, respectively, over the last two campaigns with Detroit. That could be his role again in 2025.

Lions' Khalil Dorsey: Sticking with Detroit
Dorsey re-signed with the Lions on Thursday.
The cornerback suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Detroit's December loss to the Bills last year, but he appears to be healthy again. Dorsey played on 70 defensive snaps in 14 regular-season games with the Lions in 2024 and on 76 defensive snaps in 13 regular-season games the year before. Dorsey projects as a depth corner behind free-agent signing D.J. Reed, 2024 first-round pick Terrion Arnold, 2024 Pro Bowler Brian Branch and Amik Robertson.
